The evil Panda strikes again! Google announced via Twitter today that it is rolling out the 24th version of its Panda algorithm update. This update is affecting 1.2% of all English search queries.
The first Panda update was on Feb. 24, 2011 and was a major hit to the SEO world affecting 11.8% of queries in the United States.
Most SEO companies have now adapted to the Panda algorithm so when Google makes updates (such as today) its not much of a threat and does not cause panic and anxiety. For SEO firms that have not changed their marketing strategies, the Panda is a big problem and can truly hurt organic rankings.
