Local Marketing Firm Rolls Up Their Sleeves to Help the Local Community

Fair Marketing Employees Join CEO Roger Janik at Habitat for Humanity Event

Houston, TX, July 26, 2016 – The Fair Marketing team was undeterred by the 100 degree heat as they arrived, 8am on a Saturday morning, at the job site for Habitat for Humanity’s latest build. CEO Roger Janik enthusiastically brought 15 of his employees out bright and early, where they worked side by side.

While arguably these professionals are more familiar with SEO and PPC than home construction, they soon got the hang of cutting, measuring, and installing the siding that would finish off a home for a local low-income homeowner-beneficiary of the Habitat program.

The job was complete by noon, leaving the team exhausted, but happy.

“It’s a great feeling, knowing you’ve helped someone in this really tangible way. Also, who doesn’t love working with power tools?” says David York, the Fair Marketing VP of Technology, who was part of the work crew.

Helping people is a big part of the Fair Marketing company culture. Fair Marketing routinely donates a portion of its profits to local charities. Janik himself has been involved with various charity events and organizations on a regular basis over the years.

Recently, Janik took this involvement to the next level by launching “The Search for Good,” (www.searchforgood.ngo) a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing businesses together in order to combat homelessness, hunger, and healthcare shortages around the world. Each member company pledges a minimum of 2% of its quarterly profits for life. The profits go to a board-chosen charity which changes on a regular basis.

The Search for Good is currently donating those profits to Habit for Humanity, making Fair Marketing’s participation in this particular project all the more poignant.

“Participation in events like this one is right in line both with the spirit of Fair Marketing values and the mission of the Search for Good foundation,” says Janik, who plans to bring his employees out to more Habitat events in the future.

“Personally, I can’t wait,” notes York. “I will definitely be ready to get out there and get to work on the next project.”
